About this app
Vikunja is a task and project management tool built around kanban boards, Gantt charts, and table views for planning work as a team. Tasks sync over CalDAV to calendar apps. Role-based teams with single sign-on via OIDC, OAuth2, or LDAP mean it can plug into whatever identity setup an organisation already runs. People who choose Vikunja over heavier project-management platforms tend to point to the same thing: a clean, fast interface with fewer configuration screens to work through, not a full workflow engine bolted onto every task. Self-hosting also avoids the usual per-seat fee, since unlimited users are included at no cost and only Vikunja's Cloud Organization plan and an optional self-hosted Pro add-on carry a price. Two features sit behind that Pro add-on for self-hosted instances: audit logs and time tracking. Everything else, including kanban boards, Gantt charts, CalDAV sync, and full-text search, is available at no cost.
