Rocket.Chat is a team communication platform that brings messaging, voice, and video into one place. It supports channels, threads, and direct messages, with optional end-to-end message encryption, video calls with screen sharing, and a bot framework for building integrations on top of its webhook and REST APIs. Alongside internal team chat, Rocket.Chat includes a built-in omnichannel live chat widget for handling website visitor conversations, so support teams can work from the same interface as everyone else instead of switching to a separate helpdesk tool. Three features are gated behind a paid tier: unlimited users needs a Commercial plan, and both the audit log and custom branding are Enterprise-only.
