  • GDPR tools

Export an employee's personal data or anonymise it while keeping the time records for the legal retention period.

  • Clocking in

The employee app during a shift, showing the clock-in time and time worked so far.

  • Employee app

What staff see on their phone: clock in and out, raise an incident, request a correction, or sign off the month.

  • Monthly timesheet

An employee generates the summary of their own month for a given company and period, then reviews and signs it.

Über diese App

OpenJornada records the hours employees actually work. Staff clock in and out from a phone app they can install to the home screen, log breaks, raise an incident when a record is wrong, and sign off their timesheet at the end of each month. Administrators manage companies and employees, review those incidents, and export reports as CSV, Excel or PDF. Records carry a SHA-256 hash, so a signed timesheet can be checked for alteration long afterwards, and the GDPR tools anonymise personal details while keeping the underlying hours for the retention period the law expects. An employee can belong to several companies and pick one when clocking in. The software costs nothing to run and caps nothing: every feature works self-hosted at no cost, for as many employees as you have.
