About this app

Trek is a real-time collaborative travel planner built for groups planning a trip together. It combines interactive maps, itinerary management, packing lists, and group budgeting with expense splitting, all synced live across everyone's devices. A built-in group chat keeps the discussion next to the plan. Trek runs on SQLite, so there's no separate database to install. Because Trek runs on your own server, trip details such as passport numbers, addresses, and payment information never pass through a third party's systems. Its built-in MCP server lets an AI assistant help with planning, packing, and budgeting the same way, without sending any of that data off your own infrastructure. There's no subscription: Trek is funded through voluntary donations rather than a paid tier. Every feature, including the MCP integration, is available at no cost.
