Razzia is a live, multiplayer quiz platform for hosting quiz-show style games at school, at work, or among friends. Players join a room with a code and no account needed. The host runs each round and tracks scores from a dedicated dashboard. Quizzes can mix image, video, and audio questions, each with its own timer and scoring. They're built either through that dashboard or as JSON files. A common frustration with free tiers on mainstream quiz platforms is a cap on how many players can join, which pushes organisers of bigger classes or team events onto a paid plan just to fit everyone in. Razzia has no such cap, so there's nothing extra to pay for a bigger game. It also documents its player-facing WebSocket protocol, giving anyone who wants to build an alternative client, including firmware for physical buzzers, a real way in. Every feature here, including the quiz editor and that protocol, is free to self-host.
