NocoDB is a no-code platform that turns any SQL database into a spreadsheet-style interface. It supports multiple views, including Grid, Kanban, Gallery, Form, and Calendar, and exposes a REST API so other tools can read and write the same data. Teams can build forms and work on records together without writing code, all on a database they run themselves. People who choose NocoDB consistently cite wanting their data off a vendor's servers. They're also wary of a proprietary no-code platform whose pricing, limits and terms can change without notice. Automations, SAML and OIDC single sign-on, and table- and field-level permissions all require the Business tier; team grouping and audit logging require Scale; and SCIM user provisioning requires Enterprise. Password login, the REST API, unlimited users, and the core no-code database builder with its multiple views are all available on the free Community edition.
