About this app

Mailpit runs a built-in SMTP server that captures every email an application sends, instead of delivering it to a real inbox. A web interface shows each message's HTML, text, and raw source, with a REST API and webhooks for pulling captured mail into automated test suites. Built-in checks score a message's spam likelihood and its HTML rendering compatibility across mail clients. People who adopt Mailpit over hosted email-sandbox services point to a few consistent things. There's no per-message quota or tiered pricing to run into, since it runs entirely on your own infrastructure. Captured test emails never leave the local machine or network, which matters for teams with data-handling requirements.
