About this app

Kutt is a URL shortener for creating, organising, and tracking short links on your own domain. You can password-protect or set an expiry on any link, see visit statistics, including location, referrer, and device, for every link you create, and manage users and permissions from an admin panel. A REST API and browser extensions cover programmatic and quick link creation alike. People who move to Kutt from a commercial URL shortener consistently cite privacy: Kutt doesn't log IP addresses or other identifying data behind a shortened link, unlike many commercial shorteners built around click-tracking. Running it yourself also means a link keeps working for as long as you keep the server up, rather than depending on someone else's shortener staying online. Every feature, including custom domains and the REST API, is available self-hosted at no cost.
