Ghost is a publishing platform built for independent writers and small teams who want a proper website, not just a newsletter. It combines a distraction-free editor with built-in newsletter delivery, paid membership and subscriber management, and support for a custom domain and static pages, so a whole publication runs from one dashboard. People who choose Ghost consistently mention two things. Pages load fast without needing a stack of performance plugins. The platform also comes with newsletter delivery, memberships, and SEO tools already built in, rather than bolted on afterwards.
