Network-wide ad and tracker blocking for every device you own
Query counts, the blocked share, and the most-requested domains across the network.
Every DNS request with its client, response and whether a filter blocked it.
Subscribed filter lists, each with its rule count and update schedule.
Hand-written rules for blocking or unblocking domains beyond the subscribed lists.
Per-device configuration, so individual clients can have their own filtering rules.
Safe search enforcement, parental control and browsing security toggles.
The upstream resolvers queries are forwarded to, including encrypted DoH and DoT servers.
Serving DNS-over-HTTPS and DNS-over-TLS so clients can reach the resolver encrypted.
The built-in DHCP server, which hands clients this resolver automatically.
AdGuard Home is a DNS server that blocks ads, trackers and malware domains for every device that resolves through it, with no client software to install. It subscribes to curated filter lists, applies different rules per device, and logs every query so you can see what was asked for and what was blocked. It can also serve DNS-over-HTTPS and DNS-over-TLS, and act as your network's DHCP server. People who choose AdGuard Home point to how much works without extra components. Encrypted DNS is built in, so there's no second service to run alongside it. Parental controls and safe search are toggles in the interface rather than hand-assembled blocklists. Every feature is available self-hosted at no cost, with nothing held back for a paid tier.
